- You’ve had work done – If you’ve had work done (cosmetic or otherwise) in recent months, it’s important to have regular check-ins with your dentist to make sure you’re healing properly.
- You have ongoing medical issues – Make sure your dentist is part of the team you trust to take care of you, just like your primary physician! Your dentist should be aware if you have diabetes, cardiovascular disease, or are HIV positive, as these diseases can have affects on your mouth, teeth and gums.
